Is a biologist (University of the Andes, Colombia) and Doctor in Natural Sciences (magna cum laude, University of Konstanz, Germany), with postdoctoral training in applied ecology at Kiel University. Her work focuses on identifying and analyzing innovative models that offer groundbreaking alternatives for sustainable agriculture and rural development, uncovering the factors behind their success to amplify their positive impacts. With expertise spanning tropical ecosystems, water ecology, sustainability science, and community-driven conservation, she bridges research and practice to design green initiatives and nature-based solutions that align ecological resilience with human well-being.
